Vision Craft Table And Stool Set
The Studio Desgins Futura Craft Station features a tempered blue safety glass top with a 38 inch x 24 inch main work surface that adjusts up to 40 degree angle. The stylish base is made of heavy-gauge steel construction for durability and a modern look. The table is outfitted with a 9-1/2 inch x 28 inch pencil drawer, three plastic molded drawers and a 24 inch pencil ledge. The table measures 43in x 31-1/2in x 24in deep. At the drawing table
A little behind the scene peek at how I make my toys. This is for a few dolls going to a show at Gallery Hanahou in May.
I'm making 3 fabric dolls that are "Lost at Sea" themed. I've been doing sketches while working at the gelato store... then I take the sketches and make a fullsized drawing. I cut that drawing up to make my pattern.
It takes many tries to get just the right proportions and fittings. A lot of tape and scissors work. I also use muslin or cheap thrift store sheets as the base fabric for the mock-ups. No sense in wasting good/expensive yardage.
**however try to use the same weight fabric. Sometimes moving from one kind of fabric to another can really screw up your design. Different fibers also behave differently.

The 2yo made this little fella today at his bible study class. I don't recall any caterpillars in the bible. I suppose in the Amplified Bible they get a shout-out with famines and locusts but for the most part they kind of lay low. I guess that's why this guy has the quizzical face... years of dodging the plague draft.
